Questerre initially operated with minority interests in several producing properties in Western Canada. In November 2000, a new management team was assembled and Questerre recapitalized to focus on developing high-impact projects in Canada.
The Company's strategy is to acquire large land positions in overlooked or underdeveloped areas. Leveraging its technical expertise, it high grades the acreage for further exploration and development work. Technical and financial risk is mitigated by partnerships with experienced operators and creating a portfolio of opportunities.
The Company has four core areas of activity:
St. Lawrence Lowlands, Quebec
Southeast Saskatchewan
Northeast British Columbia
Southern & Central Alberta
